How to edit and update data fetch from database on the form using gridview

I want to edit data which i fetch from database and show in the gridview but i want to when user click on edit link on gridview user redirect to form where he/she enter details or you can i have two page on my 1st page i have form and on second page i have a gridview what i want is when my my user view report in gridview he/she click on edit link and they redirect to form page where the selected data show in the form in editable form.
