Auto Responsive website...

I want to know that how my website will be auto responsive with any device... If I open my website on i-pad it should show full website whatever the size of the website is and if I open my website on mobile it should show with same width and height of that website... I've also gone through the following link http://szaboka.hu/tutorials/how-to-make-a-website-responsive/
but unsatisfied with it so what can I refer for that....

Set the page height and width to 100% instead of specifying it in PX or PT
