LCD monitor connected through laptop flickers while playing games?

my LCD monitor flickers while playing games like farcry3.my monitor is connected through laptop using HDMI cable. my laptop is DELL xps i7 is there a solution to this problem however i can easily watch 1080p videos without any flickering problem and other games like motogp also runs smoothly.

That has nothing to do with programming, call Best Buy or something.

contact the game developers, probably they will have to develop a patch or similar to work with your settings. Appart of that I'm afraid you can't do much things... (of course downloading the latest drivers for your computer and graphic card could do it but...)...
