Duplicate & Remove MovieClip methods in flash AS 2.0

I want to duplicate a movieclip(MC2) by clicking on a movieclip(MC1). Then I want to add the removeMovieClip method to the duplicated movieclip that is MC2. OR both duplicateMovieClip() and removeMovieClip() to the same movieclip(MC1). I am doing in Flash AS 2.0. Pls Help.............
