Complete beginner with visual studio need help xml web service

Hi all,

First of all would like to apologize if question is posted under wrong topic.

I have some experience in HTML, PHP, SQL, but have never used Visual Studio and .NET for development. Thing is I have tried to implement one of the XML web services and followed the example from same service provider which could be found at http://xmlsoccer.com/xmlsoccer.pdf[^]

I found it very hard to follow, so if anyone could take a look and give few hints, or step-by-step instruction I would appreciate it.

I use Visual Studio 2012.
