I want to create a new connection in DATASOURSE EXPLORER in ECLIPSE . Tell me what are the jar files needed.And please tell me some simple steps to build a connection.

when using netbeans jdbc you probably need sqljdbc.jar or some sort of that file
Eclipse may also require it
search google........

Finally When i was trying to click on a TESTCONNECTION It was saying following error

com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: The TCP/IP connection to the host localhost, port 1433 has failed. Error: "Connection refused: connect. Verify the connection properties. Make sure that an instance of SQL Server is running on the host and accepting TCP/IP connections at the port. Make sure that TCP connections to the port are not blocked by a firewall.".
