In VC++, how can I get the value of a variable from a dialog to another one?

Hi,
in Visual C++, I have an Edit Control on dialog A that be filled by user.
now I want to send this value to dialog B so that I can read and action on it in dialog B.
How can I do this?

What I have tried:

I try to use a variable defined in class of dialog B, type dialog A but it didn't work.
