How to refresh the jtree object in java after adding or removing a childnode...?

how will you refresh the Jtree object in java after adding or removing a child node ?

What I have tried:

First of all I added the Jtree object to the frame, and added some childnode to that jtree object. But when i am adding or removing a childnode it is not displayed in the tree. What to do...?
