So when I go to login to phpmyadmin with my user name and password provided by the university I get this error message

#1045 - Access denied for user '22usr273'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Are there any suggestions on how I can fix this?
The deadline is coming up soon so any suggestions would be really appreciated!

What I have tried:

I've tried setting up a separate server on Linode but I'm currently working on some technical difficulties.

Talk to the administrators at your university. They are the people who set it up.

Go to your tutor or the Uni tech department and check your username and password are exactly what they should be, and that your user has sufficient permissions on the system you are connecting to.

If it's on your own system (and "localhost" suggests that) you may need to use the admin login you set up when you first installed MySql and check what users you set up, and what permissions you gave them.

Sorry, but we can't help you fix this, we have no access to your DB at all!

Thank you so much. Yes I understand you don't have access but thank you for answering though!
