How do I design 1024x768 screen resolution, using the jello layout

Create a website containing six web pages (minimum) using HTML5 and CSS3. Your CSS file(s) do not count toward the 6 required pages; only HTML5 files are considered a web page. You will create the design and content.Website files will be logically organized using a hierarchical folder structure.

What I have tried:

nothing, i am really lost, i also need to do margins
2 One external cascading style sheet to control the presentation layer
3 Media queries included in CSS for at least 2 breakpoints: desktop and mobile device
4 Desktop layout designed for 1024x768 screen resolution, using the jello layout
5 Header
6 Footer
7 Two column layout for desktop version
8 Two different link pseudoclasses

Thank you! I appreciate your help and I was able to correct the layout. My question was right in the heading, not sure why I was attacked like that, I asked because I thought this community was for help with these types of things.

Nobody attacked you. Under the "What I have tried" section you say "nothing, i am really lost, i also need to do margins", followed by a number of things that need to be done. That and the first part of your question looks very clearly as if you are asking someone here to do your work. So all we have to work with is what you post, and reading the above it looks very much like you have not started this project, and have no plans to do so.

And responding with immediate abuse instead of making clear what you have done and where you are stuck, does not encourage anyone to help you.

While we are more than willing to help those that are stuck, that doesn't mean that we are here to do it all for you! We can't do all the work, you are either getting paid for this, or it's part of your grades and it wouldn't be at all fair for us to do it all for you.

So we need you to do the work, and we will help you when you get stuck. That doesn't mean we will give you a step by step solution you can hand in!
Start by explaining where you are at the moment, and what the next step in the process is. Then tell us what you have tried to get that next step working, and what happened when you did.

I’m not asking anyone to do anything for me, I’m simply asking how to do something. I actually want to learn this. I have finished a 6 pg Website, but forgot this step. I am looking for a resource or explanation. I am in an intro to coding course and it’s completely online, the instruction is hard to understand.

No, you are posting your homework and hoping you don't have to learn anything.
If you have got to this point in your course without knowing even how to start on this, then you've missed pretty much everything in the course so far - which is very unlikely if you did any of the previous exercises.

So we have to assume you just want it done for you ... are we wrong?
