I was with Visual Studio and the power went out. Since then, when I enter the solution explorer it appears as if I have entered it for the first time. The project is not selected, the directories are not open, it is not as I left it. I've restored a clone and updated VS and it's still the same. I have repaired VS and it has not worked.

ANY SOLUTION?
I waste time several times a day putting everything back to the way it was.

What I have tried:

q&a forum and nothing.q&a forum and nothing.

The settings are usually stored in the .vs directory of the root of the Solution tree. Check the the folder is not protected.

Try to run VS with admin priviledges. The simplest way is to modify shrtcut on the desktop (Properties => Run As Admin).

Try this: Visual Studio: Reset Window Layout[^]

Select the "Window" menu and choose "Reset Windows Layout". This should resolve your issue.
