Don't post your question here. YOu're relying on the author to stumble on your question, and that's never likely to happen.

Post it in the forum at the bottom of the article you're talking about.

Don't post this under Quick Answers - if you got the code from an article, then there is a "Add a Comment or Question" button at the bottom of that article, which causes an email to be sent to the author. They are then alerted that you wish to speak to them.
Posting this here relies on them "dropping by" and realising it is for them.

However, I suspect you are out of luck: most people don't write the same project twice in different languages, and what works as good code in one language is generally poor code in another unless rewritten from scratch using the source as a specification. For any complex code, that's a lot of investment and unlikely to happen ...
