If you installed an application developed from VB.net using Ms access as the Database to a computer and decided to use another computer
how can you access the updated database from the old computer using the application .

What I have tried:

i was thinking of copying the database from the old computer and replace the database in the new computer.
but i haven't tried it yet, is it a good idea? or is there a correct way to do it?

If the database is used only by one user and the application, then if the user changes the computer, you can just copy the database to the new computer.

However, if two or more computers use the same database, then the database should be located in a place that is accessible to all the computers and users who wish to use it. In such case the connection should be defined so that it points to the shared location. For examples about the connection string, have a look at Access connection strings - ConnectionStrings.com[^]
