How do I turn off beeps in visual studio upon file open

Greetings Kind Regards Since installing Visual Studio 2022 Preview 3 the system beeps upon each file open and file select In fact it just now beeped I have no idea why I do not know if a new version of Windows was automatically installed since last use I could find no setting in Visual Studio Options or in Windows Settings to control it It does not occur w/ other editors i.e. Notepad++ BowPad I would like to turn it off Your Kind assistance would be appreciated Thank You Kindly - Cheerio

Solution 1

I have never had that happen in any version of Visual Studio. But since it is a preview version you should report it to Microsoft.
