At a guess, you are doing something wrong.

There's only about a few thousand things that could cause a GDI error. With the complete lack of detail and code sample in your question, it's impossible for anyone to tell you what you did wrong.

First off, DON'T SHOUT. Using all capitals is considered shouting on the internet, and rude (using all lower case is considered childish). Use proper capitalization if you want to be taken seriously.

At a guess, you are retrieving the image data from a DB, and that's where the problem lies - or at least with the data itself.
Have a look here: Why do I get a "Parameter is not valid." exception when I read an image from my database?[^] - the code is in C#, but it's exactly the same process for VB.
