How to connect the SQL server with VB 6.0

I have taken VB 6.0 project from my friend. I opened VB and SQL server.But its showing an error occured in the connection string.
please help me out with the problem! please

What I have tried:

VB 6.0 and SQL SERVER MANAGEMENT STUDIO

Fix the connection string.

Without seeing your connection string, and knowing a couple details of your SQL Server installation, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ANYONE TO HELP YOU.

On top of that, why on earth are you still using VB6? It's been dead for 20 years now.
