Write a script that reflects the build and deploy times for my team projects in openshift

Hi everyone,
I am a new DevOps developer and I need as my first project to build a script (hopefully it will be shown at the end as dashboard) that will return data about the build and deploy times in OpenShift (need the specific data about each of the projects\entities so after that I can get the average of build and deploy times per project\ date \ all the project and make another filter options about this data).

I really don't even know how to start. Also, I need to choose the programming language
for this project.

I would like to get from you professional tips for how to do this project (what looking for...) .
I have only two weeks to implement this project and for now, after week of searching, I'm still lost.
