I am interested in building a bitmapped schematic editor.

And yes I know that this has probably been answered before.

I found this site by accident while searching the internet.

It was Michael Scanlon's response to a user who wanted to
do this that I landed upon. I believe he is from England.

I have currently created a windows form that includes most
of what I want the application to look like, including all
of the requirements with no intelligence underneath.

This was done with Visual Studio C Sharp.

It is a lot to ask I know, as Michael stated to the user,
"this is a huge task".

However, I must do it because it is a dream of mind to
create the necessary application.

If anyone can help me with some initial steps, that would
be greatly appreciated.

And I am not a disciplined programmer as well.

Thank you in advance to anyone who is willing to help and
guide me.

I will admit that I am desperate. In he past, I worked with
two experienced programmers, however, each of them gave up
on the project.

So now I have only myself to ask with someone who is willing
to take the time to help me.

Maybe there's agood reason for they leaving.

Search for a open source project having a similar target and have a look at the code. probably you will find it is a huge task (or maybe you will gain some insight and get ready to roll your own application).
