Hello.I need help with a program written in Qbasic to check movement of rear suspension of my Formula Vee rear suspension.I have an old program writtten in 1998 or so.it works on front suspension but not the rear i use.The rear suspension is basically a triangle movint through an arch.I need to know if wheel toe's in or out goint through that arch.Juat a basic program nothing like the one i use for the front. Thanks

What I have tried:

I have tried in Excel and tried to modify the exsisting Qbasic program. But do not understand the maths behind it.The Excel program does half the calculations but not what i need to know.

"understand the maths behind it."
That is a maths question, nothing to do with programming.

We really cannot help you.
Mostly because we have no idea what the old app looks like, or what maths it may be using - so we are as in the dark as you!
And we aren't a "code to order" service - while we are more than willing to help those that are stuck: but that doesn't mean that we are here to do it all for you!

If you are having problems getting started at all, then this may help: How to Write Code to Solve a Problem, A Beginner's Guide[^] but you may have to pay someone to do the work for you - you can try Freelancer.com who are a "code to order" service, albeit paid for.
But be aware: you get what you pay for. Pay peanuts, get monkeys.

Good luck!

If the current program does "half the calculations", then run a simulation through the various points in the arc, record them in a table and work from there.

I needed to do some things with earth's orbit, so I did 360 calculations (in my program), one for each degree (from an existing formula). I then worked with that. Similar concept (I think).
