How to use ReturnProviderSpecific types with the fill method

i am querying oracle from c# windows app through odp .net.
i am using SafeMapping to ensure there is no loss of data,but due to SafeMapping all the data gets converted to string datatype.How do i get the data with their original datatype
what i have searched is ReturnProviderSpecificTpyes helps to do the job..Plz help how to do this...
