How to connect DB in flamerobin if the database is on another server.

I try to connect flamerobin database at my local pc, but actual DB ison another server.

It is on 192.168.31.XX machine.

What I have tried:

I try this file path in flamrobin for connection

192.168.31.XX:E:\abc\xyz\20200908\TEMP\pqr.gdb

servername:DriveLetter:\filesystem-path\database-file

user SSYDBA, pass - masterkey

It gives me error like this

isc_attach_database failed

SQL Message : - 904

Engine Code : 335544375
Engine Message : unavailable database

But it is connect at 31.XX machine working properly

Solution 1

Hi.

You have to add a new server by right-clicking on "Home" and choosing "Register server".
Then inside this server you can already register the database with the path (without the server) "/filesystem-path/database-file"
