How to open .azure classic service in visual studio as it is showing incompatible in VS 2013 version?

We are getting below error while trying to open the solution:
"Unsupported
This version of Visual Studio is unable to open the following projects. The project types may not be installed or this version of Visual Studio may not support them."

Project file mask- app.azure

What I have tried:

We have tried to open the solution in other versions of VS but it is opening as Notepad file instead of solution.

Solution 1

You'll need to have the "Azure Development" workload installed in Visual Studio. The project should then automatically upgrade to the current release:

Thanks for the help Richard. We tried your solution but cc proz/.Azure solution itself is incompatible in the project. We are not able to view the property of the solution. Can you suggest some alternative?
