Create and download RDLC report in web API dotnet core

Hello,

I want to generate a specific report and download it through a web api.

I am using dotnet core 3.1

Can i do it with RDLC or any other tool?

What I have tried:

i searched for that bust most is through angluar FE and i want it through the back end.

As far as I'm concerned, the complete lack of SSRS support is one of .NET Core's biggest problems right now.

All GitHub threads discussing it have been closed and redirected to this suggestion from 2018:
develop a SSRS ReportViewer for ASP.NET Core – Customer Feedback for ACE Community Tooling[^]

It's showing as "under review", but I can't see any comment from Microsoft to confirm that they're actually looking at it.
