Where to find accessmembershipprovider?

Is it possible to use access.accdb together with <asp:login> control? I.e. is there an AccessMembershipProvider I can use? Where to find it if so? Link to tutorial or sample? I am using VS2019 and VB.

What I have tried:

Spent several days searching inet - no success. Found a nice example at https://forums.asp.net/t/1424992.aspx?Access+Membership+Provider from 2009. But failed to find SampleAccessProvider anywhere. Links to download from microsoft are not up to date.

Well, that's annoying. Microsoft seem to have deleted that download, leaving lots of articles and forum posts pointing to a dead link.

The closest thing I could find was a couple of outdated pages on the new "docs" site, which seem to have the source code for creating your own membership provider based on MS Access:
