I need to write a parser to transform LegalRuleML text to Defeasible Logic so that I can use it with SPINdle to reason over that defeasible logic. It's an assignment which is use of LegalRuleML to represent real norms within the law and then reason over them. But it's not possible to do it directly over LegalRuleML so it needs to be transformed. I wasn't able to find parsers for LegalRuleML to DL. SPINdle source code which is in Java already has interface for writing custom parser from scratch so that helps a little. I'm hoping that someone here has any experience with any of that and can at least give me some pointers how to proceed.

What I have tried:

Haven't tried anything still because I don't know how to proceed correctly.
