How to fix a setup that wont save data

my application saves data perfectly in debugging but when i created a setup and installed it on my computer the installed application wont save data in my database ms access

What I have tried:

i have tried to add the database file on the setup

Where is the database file located? If it is in the same directory as the application, and the application is deployed to "program files" folder, there is your problem.

Solution 1

Add the MDB file to your project in the Solution Explorer.
Make sure the Build Action property is set to Content.
