Run angular 8 from a .NET framework web API website

Hi

Has anyone had experience getting angular to run off a .Net Framework Web API project similar to the way .Net Core runs SPAs using the startup.cs class.

I need something that can run it similar to how the ng Serve command works when I run the project

Note: this is for .net Web API and not .net core

What I have tried:

I tried googling for the issue but keep running into .net core implementations of this , or very simple solutions to running static HTML files instead.
