I don't do java, but I assume 'dummy chess' is a well known piece of Java source code and that's why you are referring to it ? If you're a beginner, you should work through some books until you've built up the knowledge to attempt the task you have in mind.

Are you talking about article "Intro to JavaFX - Dummy Chess" [^] article?
If the answer is yes then you should post your question in the article's thread.
BTW: it's JavaFX (the hint in the article's title... :rolleyes: ).
