Application Auto Update. need help

I have created a utility application. I want to implement Application Auto update feature. I wan going to do it with Click once, but My team lead asked its not better option as it creates new folder every time you update. what alternate method can I use?

Solution 1

Clickonce is a reasonable option.
There are a few paid third party solutions that could work.

You could write your own - C# .NET Autoupdate Application Launcher[^].
