Help On Visual Basic Certification

Hello please i am learning programming with the visual basic language. I am learning VB together with web design. I came from a background that does not involve computers and computing, but i have been able to learn quite a lot during this one year since i started learning Visual Basic. But i think i am not making progress the way i am suppose to have made. My problem right now is that i am looking for an online training course that i can attend that will teach me visual basic as a programming language and at the end i will be made to write a certification course and i will be awarded a certificate of certification. Please can any one point me towards the right direction and suggest website where i can enroll to become an online student to make head way in my learning process. Any help is highly appreciated.

To me, this looks off-topic. How the certification is related to the theme of this forum. We normally ask questions on software development and computer science.

Certifications are a waste of your time. Buy some books, and work through them. Create a project and work through writing it. That's how you learn, and knowledge beats a piece of paper in a job interview
