Perhaps I can recall being able to select more than one tag. Perhaps not.

But can someone quickly point to the way in which this feature would be most useful; ie -> being able to select a number of filters or update the filters so that more than ONE tag at time does it's filtering?

See the box on the right, titled "Your Filters".

"See the box" ... the orange band "Your Filters" ...
"Interested"
"Ignored"

I'm talking about this cloud of blue tags. I click on one to filter the return.
The return happens. But on that return, the cloud has disappeared.

Why can't I select another filter? Why doesn't another "tag" get added to the list beneath "Save Filters"?

Hitting the Back return me to my previous page where the cloud is. CLicking on another tag sends to a page that has been filtered by only that tag.

What "cloud of blue tags"? What do you mean by "I click on one to filter the return. The return happens."?

What do I mean? You must be kidding me.

No, but I think you are kidding me. Try explaining your problem more clearly: I have no idea what you mean by "this cloud of blue tags"; where exactly are they and what do you expect to use them for?

The term "drill down", used in conjunction with both the visible tags and the extended list of tags that is available on clicking on the link just to the upper right of those visible, is just a couple of words that signifies ... something.

Its apparent that any olde word could have been used to "frame" the behavior that results when a tag is selected; ie -> the list of returns gets filtered by that tag. Perhaps instead of two words like drill down -> nine words:

"a lost useless or lonely heap pile muck mass"
