FileUpload Control with two buttons Submit & Upload

I have a FileUpload Control and two Buttons. One is Submit button and another is Upload.
When after browsing file I am clicking Upload button its working fine. But when I browse a file and Click Submit button before clicking Upload button, there is a postback, all browsed files are lost.
There is nothing written in page load event and submit button's click event.
How can I prevent this postback.

Use Update Panel[^]

I want to do this without using update panel. Problem is solved when I am using Session. Is there any validation I can Put on the submit button or File Upload Control
