How to write number of rows have been transferred from source to destination in SSIS in a file after a specific period of time.

Hello,

I have a data flow task in which I have an oledb source(sql server 2008) and an excel destination. I have large set of data like 50,000 to 60,000 rows which I need to transfer from oledb source to excel destination. I want to know any way from which I can find out how many rows have been transferred into the excel. Probably I could write number of rows transferred in a text file or a table every 5 minutes. I am using dtexec facility to run my package.
