VB.Net Datatable Updating Problem

Hello World,
Using VS2008 and VB I'm having problems updating back to an Access database table. The data (table) adapter fills fine but will not update and does not catch an error message in a Try/Catch. I've checked to make sure the data types of the dataset and Access table are the same.
The weird thing is it works fine when run in VS2003. Anyone run into a similar situation? Thanks for your help, John
