how can get the video duration (how long/time) ex(2:30)

ok how can do it if it flash video

You must be joking. If you want to set a time limit, offer a cash reward.

There is no answer to your question. HTML is a markup language, not a programming language. You can't do what you want with it. As it's an MPEG, I assume you're loading it with windows media player, so you may be able to get a windows media player control to display the length, but apart from that, HTML is not going to help you. javascript MIGHT, but I am not sure about that, either, and I overall doubt it.

There is no HTML that will give you the duration of a video. You might be able to use JavaScript in combination with an ActiveX control to get that information though. Flash, Silverlight, or WPF (as an XBAP) are other options you might consider.
