What do i have to do in this situation? Codecs? Maybe?

I have a video screen capturing program in vb.net, after recording i get huge files (2/3 gigs after recording for couple seconds)...

Can someone help me out one how to add/ encrypt codecs so it will take the video and same time while recording decrypt the video and will change its size. ?
