how to get started with the new Bing API

I would like to program a little windows application that displays images based on a search key using the bing api. I am a newbie to Bing. I got myself an application ID and a subscribtion on the windows azure market place, but there I got stuck. I could not find a simple beginner tutorial or walkthrough which gets you started with the very basics. Is there any good resource for total beginners?
