how do i import paradox7 .db data into a datagridview in vb9

Hi ,I need to get al the data from an old paradox7 .db datafile into my app using vb9.
On the internet are a lot of apps that can export to .csv or .txt but I am unable to find a solution that can be directly implemented in a windows forms app with vb9.
Apparently up until paradox5 is supported by windows but not after paradox5.
Odbc and Oledb gives error "The external file is not in the expected format"

I looking at console apps to run as process and then using csv/txt to datagridview,but that is time consuming.

Any help appreciated.
