asp.net validation for java script

hiiii to all
i am facing some problem with java script validation. actually i want java script validation which should be like inline validation. i dont want to open any window or popup section for error message. please help me out .
and i want this validation server control not for html controls. i mean for asp.net controls...

i have already mentioned that i want inline validation ok.. i don't want any popup or alert box..
