Hi friends,

I try to explain clearly the requirements,

I want third party application to lock the folder in my windows 7. Simple is'nt?

So my requirement is, the Folder I intend to lock should be visible to me,
When I double click(or open) the locked folder, it should ask for password.
If i give correct password, it should open otherwise throw error.

Note: I tried some folder lock application, where I need to run the application first, then i need to select the folder that i want to lock. Once i selected the folder, it will be invisible to the user. And if i need to view the content of locked folder, i need to run the folder lock application and then i need to remove the path from the application and then only the files are visible to me.

So could you please suggest me some third party application that full fills my requirements.

Thanks in advance.

Well, will you tag platform, language? Is it about software development or not, anyway?

I want only third party application, language doesnt a matter.
By the way Its not about development.......

Same question is aroused here, http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110228095641AA376bK but there is no answer.

If you don't do any development here, this would be off-topic question.

Thanks, but my requirement is the source folder should always visible to the user, when user tries to open the folder it should ask for password.
Alas I found the software,

Folder expert password is the software i've been searching all around.
But i could face some issues in that too, like

If i unlock once by giving the password to it, it releases the folder from lock and the folder turns into normal folder.

This one should be resolved right?

anyways... slightly happy....!!!!
