There are a large number of empty files growing in my C:/user name/AppData/Local/.
From 6/8/2011 to 11/11/2012 there are more than 422 empty folders named (example: {143754F9-F056-4A14-9259-B8BF1D2113F2}). Why are they empty and for what purpose do they exist? Can I delete them? Thanks, Marty

this is directory use by programs .As long as program running.Most of these folders are deleted after program completion Their job.

for For example, idm program to keep track of the files being downloaded
Puts them in a "C:\Users\****\AppData\Roaming\IDM\" folder.
After completion. Raantqal files and the make folder is empty.
Do not worry.in Most computers these folders are empty., And not a threat to you.
