can someone help me to my project in school we chose to make management information system of a certain church..we want to automate their system regarding the events, scheduling, the transactions, database and the billing process. I just dont know how to start it because visual studio 2008 is new to me. Please help me in the coding beacuse i know how to design. thanks!!!

Why do you have a school project, if you don't even know how to start it ? Are you telling me that all the students in your class are posting online because they ahve been given a task they have no idea how to do ? If so, you should talk to the principal of your school about how bad your teacher is.

File/New/choose a winforms or WPF project in the language you know. That's how you start. Then you write code. Of course, you need a database as well, probably one of the free SQL Server editions.
