Hi guys,
I work on a asp.net website targeting .net 4 with visual studio 2010. Recently my windows (windows XP) stops working during debuging (It does not happen always, but about 2 times every hour!). windows stops refreshing the page, I can not even bring up task manager, the only thing which gets refreshed is when I press Alt+Tab. when this happen, the only way is to restart the computer by pressing and holding the shutdown/restart button.
we are using windows xp, Visual Studio 2010 and TFS.
It is not hardware issue, I have changed/tested the hardware and also my other coworkers having the same problem but less frequently.
I have tried googling the problem, but I could not find anything useful. So I am posting this here maybe someone has the same problem and found a solution.
To be more clear, as I mentioned before it has started happening recently without any major code changes, and it doesn't seem to be a problem with the application. I have tryed every thing and to me it seems to be some incompatibility with windows XP (maybe some of the recent patches)and VS2010
Any idea?
