You did not get the solution to your question in 6 hours. This means that the question is too easy or very very very difficult. But I think the second possibility does not exist at all. We have very very very very very very intelligent and expert members here on CP.
So the first one seems to be a valid reason for not getting the solution to the question. The fact is that whatever you are asking is a basic research question which can be found by a simple google search like

^]. Many of the CP experts don't want to waste their valuable time on vague questions like this.
You should learn to do the basic research yourself. Google is the best option. It fast and free. It answers all your basic questions.
Secondly what you term as "simple open source project" is relative. What seems to be simple to me or somebody else may not be simple for you. Personally, I don't like anything simple. I always go for something challenging. It makes me feel special and valuable.
If you keep posting this type of questions on public forums and wait for the answers, I guess you will keep working on all weekends too (like this one).. So better make use of your time to do the research and learn, instead of depending on other people just to search on google for you...
