Flash Web site and xml connection

Hi,

I am trying to figure whats the connection between xml and flash website. Explanation: I download a few flash website and edit them using an xml file that was attached to the website and i am trying to figure out how or when was the xml bulit based on what?
or if i knew how to create a flash web-site mabye i would known the connection between the two(xml and flash web-site)

Solution 1

I imagine it's possible to write a flash file so it gets config data from an xml file. There is nothing to say that a flash file has any sort of xml associated with it, however.

I suggest you get the book, "ASP.NET for Flash." It will provide you with a basic grounding on how Flash works and how to host Flash files. The book sits on my desk bookshelf for fast reference.

It was written by Ryan Moore and its isbn is 1-59059-517-3

I asked that quiestion above cause i saw some flash websites that came along with an xml file that described object that were used in the flash file, and i am wondering when and how was the xml file created.
