Difference Between Sqlserver 2005 and 2008

Hi All,

What is the major difference between SQL Server 2005 and 2008, is there any good advantages of performance in 2008.

I'm planning to develop an application, please let me know if i can go for 2005 or 2008. Becuase if i take server space also, it is easy to get sql server 2005 rather 2008..

Please any one can explain me in detail ?

In-telly-sense available in 2008
Scripting with table data (which is not in SQl2005)
scripting that compatible for lower version of SQL than sql 2008.
there are new datatypes in 2008 wich are note in 2005 like Time datatype is not in 2005
