Greetings, I was approached by a friend who has a traditional ASP site built around the year 2000 using a standard SQL Server database and is hosted on another server. He wants to import this site into Sharepoint on his intranet server. The site has around 150 .asp pages which comprise 8-10 modules each of which contains its own feature set (one allows for users to be created, several allow for document upload and download, another is a bulletin board etc..). It seams most of these we could find a web part for, or code one ourselves, but they want "quick and dirty" and strongly suggested "Can't you just move the files and it'll work?" The site also makes heavy use of traditional ASP Session Variables. I've heard of some "magic solutions" where you just put it in the WSS folder in Inetpub and it works fine but most of the things I'm reading suggest it is much more difficult, especially since it is just an ASP (and not ASP.NET) site. Does anyone have any thoughts or could in the right direction?
Thanks in advance for the help with the beginner question.

It can't be done without a lot of work.
You might want to try this[^] though.
