I am new to web-based application.

I want to remove a web application completely from the web server.

Kindly tell me the steps that needs to be performed to remove the application.

Solution 1

It is simple, Just Open IIS from control panel i.e.

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Administrative Tools

You will find one tree view at the left side. click sites and delete the web site from there.

Solution 2

-> In run type inetmgr it will open IIS,
-> You find tree view structure where you can find the different applications hosted.
-> Right Click on application you want to remove. You will Get menu remove the web application.
