'it' is w.r.t Flame and these words were spoken by Prof.Woodward.
But a kill switch is actually a programmed one, how can one go wrong by mistyping a name from a C&C server?

DON'T SHOUT. Using all capitals is considered shouting on the internet, and rude (using all lower case is considered childish). Use proper capitalisation if you want to be taken seriously.

At a guess - if they wanted to affect or execute a file called "myfile.ext", they mistyped it as "mfyile.ext" or similar.
