How to show content of Word file (.doc) without MS Office?

Hi everyone,

I want to show the content of the word file (.doc, not .docx) on my website and do not install MS Office on my server.

I tried to use some ways to show it but they considering using Interop.Word library. This DLL required to install office.

Can you tell me some suggestions to solve this problem.

Srr about my English. Thanks for reading!

PS: I can install Open Office.

Read Document Text Directly from Microsoft Word File

DocX is a .NET library that allows developers to manipulate Word 2007/2010 files

Or you can write down your own parser.[^]
